The most loving thing you can do is walk away. You are showing them the consequence of their choice. They no longer get your help. You’ve given them all the help you can. Then if they want to continue, they would have to change to bring you back. The most loving thing you can do is go up to a certain point and then show them the consequence of the choice they’re making- so they can decide whether they want to live with that or not.
