Words

A case study examines one individual in depth, with the expectation that it will reveal things true for all of us.

I have always been interested in what exactly is a “fact.” False conclusions can mislead us due to the fact that no one thing that is true for one human, is true for the next.

I believe that to claim this would be to say one wave in the ocean has exactly the same height, strength, angle  as the next. A case study might say “smokers die younger than non-smokers,” and while this might have been true for some or even the majority, one could still argue “my own grandpa smoked two packs a day and lived to be 89.”

I base my very existence off the basis of wording. Words are sacred. If someone were to tell me that I was put here on earth from a man in the sky who goes by the name of God, I wouldn't agree. But if someone were to tell me that I was put here on earth from a larger existence than I would agree.

By labeling whatever is up there, putting one word on it, and calling it “God,” associates the assumption that anything other than “God” is wrong.

To be put here on earth by God or whatever else any religion wishes to label it, there can still be the same underlying belief that we were “put here” by something. And maybe we just don’t know what. We should begin to use religion to integrate rather than segregate ourselves, and then we can begin to understand one another.
